Introducing new Social Sync features! (V2.1)

We’re thrilled to announce the release of five powerful features that will enhance your experience with Social Sync.

These new additions are designed to streamline your workflows, improve data accuracy, and empower you to make more informed decisions.

Let’s dive into the details of each feature:

Semi-Automated Transaction Import from Meta:

Say goodbye to the tedious manual process of importing transactions!

With our new API import, you can now automate the transaction import from Meta, saving you valuable time and effort.

Pull a single day’s data, or up to 3 months at once, for bulk updates with minimal fuss.

PLEASE NOTE: To activate this feature you’ll first need to refresh the permissions on our Facebook app.

To get started, simply go to Settings > Integrations > Manage > then refresh the integration with your Facebook page as shown below:

Refresh your Facebook integration to enable direct API import of transactions from Meta.

You’ll then be able to use the API import option in our Data hub, pick your date range then hit the import button.

Job done.  A few minutes spared, and one less CSV clogging up your hard drive!  (And, on a serious note, everything is encrypted in transit so its a boon for data security too).

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL!

We are also excited to announce the phased release of fully automated nightly imports.

Enhanced Charts for Comprehensive Insights:

We’re also excited to announce that we have upgraded several of the charts on Social Sync’s dashboard, specifically on the campaign overview and organic fundraisers pages.

We hope these updated charts provide you with improved insight into your campaigns’ performance, helping you track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions with ease.

Supporter Edit Tray

We understand that maintaining clean and accurate supporter data is crucial for successful campaigns.  That’s why we’re introducing the Supporter Edit Tray, an enhancement to our Campaign Record modal.

This powerful tool provides direct access to view and edit any supporter’s personal details, such as name, email, address, and more.

With just a few clicks, you can update contact information, fix typos, and add supplementary data such as demographics or date of birth.

By empowering you to manage and improve supporter records effortlessly, we’re helping ensure that your database remains top-notch.

Secondary Modals for Editing Consent and Address Records:

We believe in providing comprehensive control over supporter data, which is why we’re introducing secondary modals for editing consent, address and other composite records.

These modals offer a focused environment to manage and update more complex supporter data which either contains multiple elements or may fluctuate over time.

You can maintain accurate information, view a full and transparent history of all changes and ensure full compliance with privacy regulations, all within Social Sync’s user-friendly interface.

Direct Messaging Option for Facebook Fundraisers:

And last but by no means least…

Engaging directly with your supporters is about to become easier than ever, thanks to our new direct messaging option for Facebook fundraisers.

Full disclosure: This feature didn’t quite make the cutoff point for today’s update, but we’re expecting it to go live later this week so including it with this blog post.

Another extension of each supporter’s Campaign Record, this feature allows you to communicate directly with fundraisers through Social Sync.

This direct messaging route is provided in addition to our existing automated Facebook fundraiser page thanking system, and is super useful if you want to just dive in and start thanking.

It will also work, of course, with any saved message templates you’ve already created and work alongside our forms to enable personalised data capture 😎

Keeping your fundraisers informed, motivated, and connected, all from one centralised hub, has never been easier.
